I graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. My first job at a Small Animal practice in central Massachusetts taught me the Art of Practice, then I completed an Internship in General Medicine and Surgery at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. I have over 10 years of experience in complicated Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine, plus extensive experience with Behavior and General Practice.
My passion for animals and helping people evolved from my childhood love of riding. I competed on the hunter/jumper circuit in Maryland and Virgina as a teen. In vet school I discovered a desire to have a more intimate relationship with my patients and clients. I enjoy being an intergal part of my patients’ lives, not just the person with a needle they see once a year!
My goal for In Home Vet is to practice the style of medicine I love while having time to participate in the rest of my life. I am married and have 2 school-age children. I love music, movies, and a good book. I enjoy the outdoors and am trying to be a runner. And I love sharing a good meal with friends at a great restaurant.
