About Me
I have always had a love of animals. I showed horses competitively as a teenager and initially wanted to be an equine vet specializing in sports medicine. As I went through my veterinary school training, I realized that the relationship that I developed with my clients and patients gave me much joy and that small animal practice complimented this passion best. I graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1994 and continued my training at The Animal Medical Center in New York City with a medicine and surgery internship. I have practiced emergency medicine and been in general practice in New York City, Sturbridge, Massachusetts, and Montgomery County, PA, with a focus on internal medicine and behavior.
Although I no longer ride horses, I enjoy being outside and am learning to golf. I love to read and enjoy good food and wine. I have 3 cats and do consider myself a cat person, but this increases my enjoyment of my canine patients! Every visit gives me a much-needed doggie fix.
